Digital Marketing Specialist

Pearson Clinical Assessment is currently recruiting for Digital Marketing Specialist (Full-time Position).  This position is based out of the Assessment office located at 55 Horner Ave., Toronto. 

Pearson Clinical Assessment is a leading global test publisher and distributor in the psychological, speech-language, occupational therapy, educational and human resources fields. A part of the Pearson group of companies, the company is headquartered in the U.S., with offices in Canada, Europe, and Australia.  While the Canadian office is continuously looking for talent, we are currently seeking a professional and self-motivated team player with the right combination of skills and experience to fill one opening in Toronto, Ontario in the role of Digital Marketing Specialist. 

Position Responsibilities:

The Digital Marketing Specialist will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing and will have the following duties and competencies: 

  • Responsible for the development and upkeep of the company’s presence across website and multiple platforms
  • Accountable for updating and maintaining the content on mini/micro sites owned by Pearson Clinical
  • Accountable for gathering requirements from marketing and sales and presenting them online to meet their needs as well as ensuring that customers have accurate and updated information
  • Improving the design elements and data integrity of existing online assets and digital properties
  • Design, develop, and manage new products for the web and e-newsletters in accordance with market and product launch needs
  • Coordinate the design of new media products, especially web site and social media campaigns
  • Liaise with marketing, sales, customer care and external focus groups on product development and design
  • Provide online marketing and platform support internally
  • Conduct regular analysis and reporting of key performance indicators and market trends
  • Coordinate testing of products including user experience and cross-browser compatibility
  • Special projects as assigned 

Position Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • College Diploma in web design or in graphic arts
  • 1 – 3 years of related experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Web technologies, including HTML, Dreamweaver, CSS
  • Hands-on programming experience with HTML 5, JavaScript, XML, AJAX, considered an asset
  • Experience with Adobe Design suite
  • Demonstrated experience designing websites, html newsletters and Wordpress
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with information and interface design
  • Familiarity with Mac, Windows, and UNIX platforms
  • Bilingualism-French/English considered an asset
