Pearson receives Learning Impact Awards from IMS Global Learning Consortium

Pearson, the global leader in education, technology and services, has been honored with several awards from a consortium of the world’s leaders in education and learning technology. The IMS Global Learning Consortium’s Learning Impact Awards celebrate innovative use of technology to improve learning and were presented during the group’s annual conference in Long Beach, Calif.

DeVry University, Pearson eCollege and The Learning Edge International received a Gold Award in recognition of DeVry’s I (4) Excellence Content Authoring and Management System. The I (4) system (Independence, Instructional Integrity, Interoperability) uses Pearson eCollege’s online learning environment and The Learning Edge’s EQUELLA software to migrate and catalogue digital content.
